Travel teams may play in the High School division with permission from the Field House.  Teams are encouraged to play in the A or B division only.

SEASON STARTS THE WEEK OF OCTOBER 25, 2010 (Monday)

The Fredericksburg Field House would like to announce its opening of our Holiday high school soccer season.  We also want to clarify that our high school league is for players that attend high school.  Teams are formed by players not by schools.  It is against the VHSL rules for coaches to have involvement with the players.

High School Soccer - Highlights from the Rules and Regulations Handbook
"Remember, a Jedi's strength flows from the Force. Anger, fear, aggression. The Dark Side are they." --Yoda

The qualities of good sportsmanship are fundamental to the operation of the Fredericksburg Field House, its teams, and the individual athletes.  It is vital that none of those attributes are forgotten in the heat of play or at any time off the field.  So here are a few reminders;

1)  If a player receives a red card during play, then he is banned from the rest of the game and from the next game.  He must leave the facility immediately and may not return, even as a spectator, until the suspension has ended.  The Field House Staff reserves the right to extend or modify any suspension.  Two red cards acculumated within the same season will result in a suspension for the rest of the season and the next season.

2)  Any player who claims the identity of another player or who lies in any way about his name or status on the team will be immediately banned from the facility.  Playing as a non-registered player or lying about your name is considered stealing by the Field House.  The Field House takes any breach of this player contract very seriously.  The player and anyone involved will be banned from the Field House indefinitely.

3) No drop-in players are permitted in the High School Soccer league.

3) Fighting is taken very seriously at the Field House.  Fighting is not permitted on or off the field.  The fate of any player involved in a fight will be at the disgression of the Field House staff.

4) All teams must have a PARENT present in the box during games.  Only PARENTS and players with no outstanding player fees are permitted in the box.  All spectators must observe games from the spectator side of the field.

5) All players must wear shingaurds.  No screw-in cleats are permissible.  Matching or similar shirts must be worn by teams.

"May the Force be with you! ... For my ally is the Force, and a powerful ally it is. Life creates it, makes it grow. Its energy surrounds us and binds us. Luminous beings are we, not this crude matter. " --Yoda
